Kundai Benyu

Helsingborg midfielder Kundai Benyu has played in the majority of the team's Allsvenskan matches in 2019, making 10 appearances overall and accumulating 428 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in two of these appearances across their 20 fixtures and been predominantly used as a substitute by entering the game from the bench on eight occasions.

The last league match that Benyu played came on August 19 for Helsingborg against IFK Göteborg; a meeting that he played 19 minutes in during a 2-1 defeat. In total, the midfielder has notched one Allsvenskan goal this term.

His opening goal of the campaign came in the 1-1 draw against Falkenberg on August 3.

Helsingborg occupy 10th in the table with 30 points and next face a trip to Norrköping in Allsvenskan action on August 25.

Benyu switched to Helsingborg on loan in February 2019 from Celtic, for whom he has made one league appearance in total, after joining the club in July 2017 from Ipswich Town.
