Joel Amoroso

Joel Amoroso is a Melgar midfielder who has played in the vast majority of their Primera División matches in 2020, making 25 appearances overall and accumulating 1,818 minutes of playing time. He has started in 22 of these appearances across their 28 fixtures and been used as a substitute on three occasions.

Amoroso last played in the competition on November 30 for Melgar against Deportivo Municipal. In that match he netted a goal for his team in their 3-2 win. He has currently scored in three Primera División appearances in a row. The midfielder has netted four Primera División goals this season,, whilst he also ranks joint seventh for Primera División assists this season having created six goals for his team-mates. A first league goal of the season for Amoroso came against Sport Huancayo in a 4-0 victory on November 18.
